Duties
Help
  • Identifies, develops, and manages process-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and other process performance critical data to ensure the team is meeting its performance targets.
  • Provides enterprise-wide process and capability improvement recommendations to top-level agency management briefings and for submittal to the Division Director or Process Owner(s).
  • Expert analyst and advisor to the Division Director or Process Owner(s) and other senior leaders on functional program/process improvement initiatives, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures for their process area.
  • Coordinates and responds to major Congressional, Government Accountability Office, or Inspector General investigations, audits, and inspections.
  • Analyzes and participates in development of DLA positions on legislative matters, as well as in the development of proposed legislation.
  • Establishes quantitative parameters for program/process execution, determines resource needs, evaluates impact of resources constraints, and recommends action for Leadership approval.

  • This is a Mission Essential (ME) position. The incumbent may be required to report to work in the event of a natural disaster, inclement weather, or crisis.
  • You will be a Mission Essential employee. This requires you to work during an emergency to ensure continuation of essential functions. you may be required to work at the designated duty location, a telework site, or an alternate location/facility.
Qualifications

To qualify for a Business Process Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

  • Providing process improvement recommendations to top-level agency management briefings and for submittal to the Division Director or Process Owner(s).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
