Key Responsibilities:

• Develops overall architecture and implementation plans for orchestration, automation, and management of cloud resources in compliance with DoD standards.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and GitLab Runners or equivalent technologies
• Implement automated tests and build tools for modern programming languages
• Integrate package managers such as Maven, Gradle, PyPi, and npm
• Design and implement DevOps practices and platform engineering solutions
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Conduct cybersecurity vulnerability scanning using SAST and DAST tools
• Implement a risk management framework based on NIST guidelines
• Design and implement microservice architectures
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps practices

• Proficient in using the following technologies to further development of DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines:
• DoD DevSecOps Reference Architecture
• Git/GitLab
• ArgoCD
• Ansible
• Helm Charts
• SOPS
• SonarQube
• Fortify
• Twistlock, Trivy, or NeuVector
• Cosign/Sigstore/Attestations
• DoD PKI/PKE

Skill/Qualification:

• Education: Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, ITM, or CIS (desirable)

• 10+ years of technical team experience in software or IT projects (15+ years for non-CS/Engineering degrees)
• 5+ years of technical guidance experience for junior team members
• 4+ years of technical team leadership experience with proven performance
• Must have DoD 8570/8140 IASAE Level II (CISSP, CASP, etc..)
