Job Description:

ITEC is seeking a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our SI&T team in Aurora Colorado or Richardson Texas. In this role, you will work with cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. 

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work together with our customers. 

Job Responsibilities:

This role includes but is not limited to:

• Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train team.
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure.
• Development of automated test scripts and their execution.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
• Work in an Agile program environment. 

Required Skills:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience or three years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in STEM.
• Experience with systems integration and test for a software product, in an Agile, CI/CD environment including regression testing, test scripting, and test automation tools.
• Hands-on Integration and Test engineering experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product.
• Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, and Perl. 

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
• Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations).
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher).
• Experience with Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with Linux operating system.
• Experience in a Cloud environment; AWS certification is helpful.
• CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification.
