Job Title: RF Microwave Design Engineer
Location: Camarillo / Pt Mugu, CA
Clearance: Active DoD Secret (or Interim eligible) – U.S. Citizenship Required
Responsibilities
Develop and analyze RF systems and performance metrics.
Perform data analysis and support firmware, software, and hardware integration/testing.
Contribute to system architecture/design (power, RF, block diagrams, DoDAF framework).
Research and recommend COTS components based on performance, SWaP (Size, Weight, Power).
Support system prototyping, ATPs, and lab/system testing.
Troubleshoot system failures and RF performance issues.
Review system documentation, drawings, and technical manuals for accuracy.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s in EE, CE, Physics, Math, CS or related field (2+ years) OR Master’s with 0 years exp.
Ability to obtain/hold DoD Secret clearance.
Experience with MATLAB or equivalent tools.
Knowledge of RF components/systems.
Onsite role (no telework).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HFSS, Keysight ADS, DSP, radar waveforms, ES/EA, EW principles.
Familiarity with Agile, Jira/Confluence, Ethernet/TCP-IP.
Knowledge of RF receivers, jammers, SDRs, encryption systems.
Hands-on with RF test equipment, PCB design, AutoCAD electrical.
Experience with military avionics, EW systems, and MIL-STD compliance.
