We are in search of a Jr Knowledge Manager to join our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program Management Office (PMO) Team. The successful candidate will participate in areas affecting cybersecurity operations, intrusion detection/prevention, Zero Trust architecture, vulnerability management, and security compliance.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support our Program Management Office (PMO) through a blend of administrative coordination and knowledge management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys streamlining processes, and has a knack for clear communication and documentation. From managing calendars and capturing meeting notes to crafting SOPs, updating templates, and organizing shared resources, you’ll play a key role in keeping our team aligned, informed, and efficient.

Pay Range: Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the PMO calendar, including scheduling meetings and tracking key milestones.
- Capture meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups across internal and customer-facing sessions.
- Create, update, and standardize templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quick reference guides (QRGs) for team use.
- Compile weekly/monthly program updates and deliverables for customer reporting.
- Develop and edit presentations and briefing materials for leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- Support light technical writing and document editing to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Organize and manage shared drive content, ensuring version control and logical structure.
- Draft internal communications, announcements, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Assist with onboarding documentation and process improvements for new team members.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify gaps in documentation and knowledge assets.
- Help maintain a centralized repository of program resources and reference materials.
- Provide general administrative support to the PMO, including task tracking and coordination.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, information management, cyber or related field (or equivalent experience). 1 year of experience working to support project coordination, and communication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, collaborate across teams, and communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Ability to take clear and concise meeting notes, track action items, and follow up independently.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and terminology.
- Comfortable crafting internal communications and summarizing updates for stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset, with a proactive approach to improving team processes and documentation.
- Must be a US Citizen to qualify
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JIRA and Maestro
- Familiarity with creating and maintaining SOPs, templates, and quick reference guides.
- Experience with shared drives or document repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
- Experience in administrative support, project coordination, and knowledge/document management.
