Description
Leidos Dig Mod Health IT division is seeking a skilled and collaborative Configuration Manager to work across engineering and operations to be gate keeper/admin to change and configuration management process. Use ServiceNow (CDM) to record, track and reports status of requests in the environment.
Candidate MUST:
Be a US Citizen or US Person who has lived in the United States for at least three consecutive years and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust level 4 clearance
Be able to work onsite 2-3 days per week, locally available for on-site support in Rockville, MD, or Washington, DC.

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Leidos Dig Mod Health IT division is seeking a skilled and collaborative Configuration Manager to work across engineering and operations to be gate keeper/admin to change and configuration management process. Use ServiceNow (CDM) to record, track and reports status of requests in the environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop an appropriate configuration management strategy that will: Identify and communicate major changes for each initiative; Develop specific transition and communication strategies; Develop strategies for mitigating and managing major barriers and risks for implementation and working across multi-layered teams.
- Responsible for the development, maintenance of configuration management plans, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the management and tracking of processes related to system hardware, software, documentation and other components of systems lifecycle and corresponding changes.
- Perform comprehensive configuration management on all Government-approved infrastructure systems and components.
- Responsible for execution of configuration management processes and changes.
- Assist in the definition of requirements management methodology and processes.
- Capture requirement baselines, track and monitor all configuration changes and compliance.
- Operate, configure, and administer all government t furnished equipment automated tool designed to support configuration management.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate configuration management processes into the system engineering lifecycle.
- Generate reports on status of configuration changes and compliance.
- Participate in change control board reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, must meet eligibility requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field additional 4 years considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in configuration management (CDM).
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar system for CDM tracking and documenting.
- Experience with IaaS including virtual machines, storage and network resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge with Azure and Oracle cloud services.
- Knowledge of IT or certifications in service management frameworks such as Agile, ITIL or DevOps
- Experience in overseeing or supporting IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Ability to plan, execute, and manage project tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Advanced analytical skills to address complex issues, develop strategic solutions, and execute them effectively.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation and process improvements. Ability to design and implement standard operating procedures.
Clearance Required:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust throughout the course of employment.
