We empower our teams, contribute to our communities, and operate sustainably. Everything we do is built on a commitment to do the right thing for our customers, our people, and our community. Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.
Are you ready for your next challenge?
The Integrated Airborne Solutions (IAS) Division of Leidos currently has a contingent opportunity for an OCONUS Training Instructor at our location in Bridgewater, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the MATOC Poland FMS ASRR Aerostat System mission. In this mission we will deliver four Aerostat systems to the Polish Armed Forces, and will provide Polish Armed Forces personnel with Train-the-Trainer training, Aerostat System Operator training, and Aerostat System Maintainer training.
THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
Instructors will participate in the development of a comprehensive training curriculum and instructional materials through collaboration with our OEM subcontractors, standardize the training according to TRADOC standards, and instruct classes in US and Polish locations. Instruction will be held in classroom and hands-on, in-the-field environments.
Instructors will be trained on ELINT and Radar systems by our OEM partner, familiarized with Leidos Logistics Management Systems, Ground Control Station equipment and procedures, and other operational and maintenance subjects pertinent to the operation of these Aerostat systems at their respective OCONUS sites. Instructors will then provide Train-The-Trainer instruction to 30 Polish Armed Forces and contractor personnel in Elizabeth City, NC.
Throughout the performance of this mission, Instructors will deploy to Poland to provide training instruction and oversee the quality and effectiveness of training administered in our OCONUS sites . They will measure the performance of OCONUS students, provide remedial instruction as needed, and ensure training objectives are met. Up to 200 students will be trained in Aerostat and Payload Operations, and up to 20 will be trained in Aerostat and Payload Maintenance. Upon the completion of training courses in Poland, Instructors will continue to deploy to oversee site operations, and monitor the on-the-job performance of Polish Armed Forces certified students.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)
Preferred Qualifications
At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.”
If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You’ll fit right in.
