Position Overview
You will work with a cross-functional team of hardware, software, and FPGA engineers in our dedicated product development lab. Your day might include architecting new hardware solutions, reviewing PCB designs, collaborating with contract manufacturers, debugging prototypes, or mentoring team members. You'll partner closely with product managers to define requirements, work with FPGA engineers to optimize hardware interfaces, and engage with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead development of complex PCB designs incorporating FPGA SoCs
- Drive system-level hardware architecture decisions and technical requirements
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) processes with contract manufacturers
- Develop and validate high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits
- Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC compliance, thermal, and signal integrity requirements
- Partner with FPGA/firmware teams to define hardware interfaces and requirements
- Lead design reviews and drive technical consensus across multiple teams
- Mentor junior engineers and establish hardware engineering best practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in hardware development
- Experience with PCB design and high-speed digital circuits
- Experience with FPGA SoC hardware integration, hardware validation and debugging
- Experience with manufacturing processes and DFM principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AMD/Intel FPGA SoC platform
- Expertise in signal integrity and power integrity analysis and PCB design tools (Allegro, Altium, or similar)
