Operations Analyst Expert

Our work depends on an Operations Analyst Expert joining our team to provide project planning, execution support and military subject matter expertise in targeting and Special Operations Forces (SOF) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) and systems analysis for the Joint Staff J6 Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation (CIAV) team.
HOW A OPERATIONS ANALYST EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Support the CIAV methodology with targeting and special operations expertise to support Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies assessment requirements related to data sharing with mission partners.
• Provide expert understanding of targeting and the special operations cycle as part of a highly motivated team of operationally focused individuals.
• Provide project execution advice, analysis, and support as provided in a Tactical Operations Center or Coalition Joint Operations Center with hands-on experience and knowledge of Special Operations targeting systems and architectures.
• Serve as Assurance and Validation (A&V) event planner, execution lead and analyst responsible for performing research, coordinating site configuration, executing use cases, and performing data analysis.
• Conduct analysis for A&V events, perform exercise support planning activities, and coordinate findings with CIAV Operations Support as outlined in the CIAV U. S. Organizational documents.
• Demonstrate previous experience to manage and perform in-depth target development and SOF operations.
• Provide tactical and strategic analysis, and design, develop, and deliver professional written and oral products to convey information in a clear and concise form and format suitable for seniors, peers, subordinate personnel and organizations.
• Collaborate with other event leads to ensure seamless integration of findings, impacts, and artifacts into one report for submission to the appropriate distribution list as determined by the JS CIAV National Lead.
• Coordinate classified and unclassified recurring and ad hoc meetings and participate in person, via streaming platform, or telephonically.
• Interface with other assessment and Special Operations organizations and participate in coalition and Joint interoperability and assessment related working groups and meetings.
Identify opportunities for modeling and simulation early in the event planning process.
• Coordinate the RFI process to address requirements through to completion, which includes identifying and coordinating the proposed classification of requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
• Apply derivative classification markings and distribution statements to associated US CIAV documents produced for distribution/publication.
• Participate in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, work and military experience. Educational equivalency is a minimum of sixteen (16) years specific and related operational and command and staff experience in the U.S. Military.
• Required Experience: 16+ years of related experience as described above
• Required Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military conventional and special forces operations, intelligence, and targeting. Advanced knowledge of relevant targeting and special forces technology and equipment. Specific certifications or military education/training may be required.
• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI or SCI Eligible
