Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced planning and scheduling support across multiple mission-critical programs and locations. This role is essential to the development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), proposal planning, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Critical Path Methodology, Earned Value Management (EVM), and experience with tools such as Deltek Open Plan.

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced planning and scheduling support across multiple mission-critical programs and locations. This role is essential to the development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), proposal planning, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Critical Path Methodology, Earned Value Management (EVM), and experience with tools such as Deltek Open Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including proposal schedules and Basis of Estimate (BOE) support.
- Assess planning and scheduling requirements and verify alignment with customer requests.
- Advise Program Management on contractual impacts, critical events, and risks affecting delivery or cost.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Apply Critical Path Methodology to schedule network development and analysis.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production teams.
- Prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to risk and opportunity analysis and support internal/external audits.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active Secret or higher clearance required.
- Experience with Critical Path scheduling and analysis.
- Proven track record in schedule control, proposal development, and project integration.
- Experience with Deltek Open Plan scheduling tool.
- Familiarity with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) programs.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and IPMDAR reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working independently across technical teams with a basic understanding of technical products.
- Background in Capture, R&D, and Production Scheduling requirements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital planning tools.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Additional certifications or training in program planning, scheduling, or project management are highly desirable.
