Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is hiring a Senior Network Architect for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Infrastructure Support I (ISS I) program. This is a hybrid position, and the candidate will perform the function primarily at FDIC Headquarters in Arlington, VA. Pay Range: Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage technical network solutions and frameworks.
- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
- Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.
- Design, test, and inspect network systems.
- Perform network planning, modeling, and analysis.
- Install and maintain hardware such as cables, hubs, routers, and wireless adaptors.
- Design, implement and manage security countermeasures when network vulnerabilities arise.
- Analyze, engineer, and execute software functions.
- Develop and deliver professional proposals and design documentation.
- Manage technology vendors.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a related field
- 11+ years of experience working with information technologies
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex networks, including LANs, WANs, and cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, best practices, and experience with firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
- Extensive knowledge of computer operations and systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certifications courses such as CompTIA A+ or CCENT
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Advanced ability to recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of systems and software engineering to optimally integrate subject expertise in software solution designs.
- Understanding of security standard methodologies.
- Advanced ability to develop innovative voice and video solutions.
Clearance Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- United States Citizenship is required.
