A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
• Lead integration, functional, and system-level testing for GCCS-J programs
• Define and oversee development of test plans, strategies, and automation approaches
• Serve as a technical advisor to the Government on test readiness, validation, and compliance
• Mentor junior testers and provide leadership within Agile Scrum teams
• Drive system demonstrations, gather user feedback, and support after-action reporting
• Ensure test execution aligns with mission requirements, cost, and schedule
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of software/system testing experience
• Proven experience leading test teams or efforts in defense programs
• Strong expertise in Linux/Windows environments and test automation methods
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Strong experience with automated testing, DevSecOps pipelines, and containerized environments
• Knowledge of C2 systems, GCCS-J, and DoD testing standards
• Local to Newport News preferred
