A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
• Perform full lifecycle product testing including unit, functional, and integration testing
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and documentation
• Map test cases to requirements to ensure traceability and compliance with DoD standards
• Support Agile Scrum teams as an individual contributor focused on validated code delivery
• Contribute to product demonstrations and incorporate UX input and user feedback
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–7 years of testing or quality assurance experience
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in Linux/Windows environments
• Ability to develop structured test documentation aligned with requirements
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Hands-on RHEL/Windows system administration experience
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes
• Local to Newport News preferred
