Test Engineer Jr

A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
• Assist with manual and integration testing for GCCS-J baselines and new capabilities
• Develop and execute test steps, cases, and plans under guidance from senior team members
• Map test steps to system requirements and support Agile development teams
• Troubleshoot issues with developers and contribute to technical documentation updates
• Support system demonstrations and provide user experience (UX) feedback
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 0–3 years of software testing or related experience
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS at the user level
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and Agile methodologies
• Exposure to C2 systems, GCCS-J, or DoD environments
• Local to Newport News preferred
