A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
• Write, define, and validate system requirements for GCCS-J baselines and enhancements
• Collaborate with the Systems Engineering team to integrate requirements across situational awareness, infrastructure, and intelligence product areas
• Contribute to the design, analysis, development, integration, and test of new capabilities
• Support Agile development processes and full system lifecycle engineering activities
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards and mission requirements
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions during modernization and sustainment efforts
Focus Areas
• Requirements engineering and definition
• Close collaboration with systems engineers and developers
• Matching technical stack with mission needs (C2 experience a plus but not required)
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related technical field
• 3–7 years of systems engineering or related experience
• Experience in requirements solicitation and development
• Understanding of system lifecycle processes and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools (e.g., Cameo Enterprise Architecture)
• Knowledge of DoDAF models and DoD acquisition processes
• Experience with C2 systems (e.g., GCCS-J)
• Familiarity with virtual environments (VMWare, Linux/Windows admin)
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance highly preferred
