You will be the Operations Engineering Senior Manager for the Dallas site operations team. Our team is responsible for transforming site operations through innovation, process optimization, and strategic growth.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Operations Engineering Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive operations strategy that integrates technical vision, business objectives, and digital transformation. You will lead a high-performing team of operations engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive operations strategy

  • Building and maintaining a high-performing team of operations engineers

  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance site performance

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or an equivalent combination experience and education
- Demonstrated strong team and strategic leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the business and across a variety of functions
- Demonstrated ability to coach teams, resulting in overall team growth and performance improvements
- Experience with personnel training and upskilling
Desired Skills:
- Experience developing and implementing technical and business roadmaps
- Experience with business case development and the justification of manpower, capital, and strategic investments
- Experience driving the execution of manufacturing focused research and development projects
- Experience with implementing new manufacturing technologies into production
- Experience with deploying and sustaining automation technologies within production environments
- Demonstrated skills to build, manage, motivate, and collaborate with high-performance problem-solving teams
- Skills and deep understanding of lean/six sigma tools, MRP and MES systems, quality management systems, and work instruction control systems
- Depth and breadth in skills and/or experience across multiple disciplines of manufacturing related to production
- Project management experience
- Capital project planning and execution experience
- Experience designing, planning, and building new production facilities
- Experience with shop floor optimization, industrial engineering, and efficient production flow
- Environmental Safety and Health, and DCMA procedures
- Demonstrated continuing, ongoing awareness of related new technologies and their potential impact to the business
- M.S. in a relevant discipline

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
