Dorrean is currently recruiting for a Mandarin Language-proficient Forensic Accountant with an active Top Secret clearance for a contract role with a Federal Agency in Washington, DC. The Mandarin Language-proficient Forensic Accountant will provide forensic accounting expertise, providing analysis of National Intelligence Information. They will analyze information gathered from open-source and commercially-enabled intelligence, coupled with a deep knowledge of niche, country-specific resources that provide selector information on US and foreign nationals, corporations, and other entities. The results of this analysis will be drafted into Targeting Packages that can be leveraged to support investigative and enforcement efforts.

Required Experience and Education:

- Must hold either a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certification.

- Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Forensic Accounting, Accounting, Finance, or a related field for forensic accountants.

- Must be proficient in reading and comprehending written Mandarin Chinese.

- Must have a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience leading or coordinating complex programs and/or multiple projects within the defense, intelligence, or law enforcement communities.

- Must have expert knowledge of business and government organizational and managerial structures and practices, and their financial documentation practices, as well as various sophisticated finance and accounting systems, methods, and techniques. Shall have advanced ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, to apply various statistical methods and formulas, to discern and unravel complex interrelationships, to recognize concealed or obscure associations, and to draw logical inferences and conclusions that are significant for evidentiary purposes.

- Must have ability to use computer hardware and software as tools for gathering and analyzing financial information, conducting analyses, managing investigative cases, and facilitating office operations to include database management systems, statistical analytical software, Internet research techniques and information resources, office automation (spreadsheets, desktop publishing, BankScan etc.), and electronic mail systems.

- Must have skill in written and oral communications, including the following abilities:
- Translating complex and interrelated information into articulate presentations.
- Composing substantive analytical reports.
- Interacting effectively as a member of a multi-jurisdictional investigative team.
- Eliciting information.
- Developing cooperative relationships with international and/or domestic banking, financial and law enforcement officials.
