Job Title: Junior Federal Financial Data Analytics Staff
Location: Falls Church, VA – On Site

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analytics Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with the ability to transform raw financial and contract data into meaningful charts, diagrams, and insights. This role will support data-driven decision-making by analyzing and visualizing data to uncover trends and patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support business objectives.
• Develop dashboards, charts, and visual reports using Power BI and Excel to present insights in an easy-to-understand format.
• Assist in identifying trends, anomalies, and key performance indicators from data sets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather data requirements and optimize reporting structures.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Support automation of data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business processes and decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 3+ years’ experience in a DoD or federal government customer setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Experience with Power BI for creating dashboards and interactive reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights and visualizations.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database management is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and organized meeting minutes, capturing key discussion points, decisions, and action items.
• Ensure timely distribution of agendas, meeting notes, and follow-ups to relevant stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail when reviewing documents, tracking tasks, and managing information.
• Experience performing cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives.
• Experience with government contracting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
