Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes understanding Combat Training Center Methodologies including Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Instrumentation Data Collection; analyzing current Instrumentation System infrastructure; and making recommendations for improvements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

- Serve as the Instrumentation Integration Analyst for the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability (JPMRC) Instrumentation System (IS).
- Responsible for the operation of the Instrumentation System and its support of an exercise rotation.
- Perform duties pertaining to the coordination of all aspects of instrumentation and communications.
- Prepare and brief the JPMRC command and other leaders on the JPMRC Instrumentation System and ongoing integration efforts.
- Apply Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) simulations data and synchronizes all communications assets to support each exercise in support of the JPMRC and JPMRC-IS.
- Represent the Operations Group in matters on integration of new systems or functions into the JPMRC IS
- Write or review proposed schedule of tasks and assets required to integrate a system or function into the JPMRC Instrumentation System.
- Serve as the Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) for Instrumentation System contracted efforts.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 50% of the time.
- This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
- During rotational exercises, the employee is required to work a flexible duty hours which includes - weekends, holidays, and shift work consistent of 10-12 hours days.

- This position is subject to deployment through-out the Pacific AOR to include countries West of the International Date Line, that employee is deployed and work in austere and remote field conditions in support of maneuver training exercises as part of a forward support training package. In the event of a deployment, the employee must continue to perform assigned duties to support the mission requirements until relieved by proper authority, or the mission is complete. The employee may be required to live and work in tents or shelters while on deployment.
