Position Title : Occupational and Environmental Health (OEH) Readiness SME
Position Location : Falls Church, VA (DHHQ)
Daily Responsibilities:
- Serve as the OEH Readiness SME, offering consultant expertise regarding Air Force policy on the Bioenvironmental Engineering Readiness program and regulations covering all hazard responses, CBRN, CMRP, and equipment modernization.
- Assist in developing processes, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for the program, and contribute to the creation of education and training (E&T) materials for Air Force personnel.
- Deliver required reports and analyses on time.
- Research, analyze, and review current Air Force, multi-service, and Mission Essential Tasks Lists (METLs) for OEH program requirements, and document findings in written reports.
- Build and manage a Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) SharePoint site to distribute information to the Readiness Program Group Council.
Required Years of Experience (min) :
- Seven (7) years of DoD experience or similar senior-level expertise.
Required Degree/Certifications :
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, environmental science, or environmental health, or at least ten years of experience as a Bioenvironmental Engineer (USAF or equivalent).
Required Experience & Expertise in the following areas :
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with LAF, MAJCOM, OSD, and Joint programmers, planners, and operations staff; prior experience at a military service headquarters is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word®, Excel®, Outlook®, and PowerPoint®. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Basic understanding of the United States Air Force and Department of Defense organization and structure.
- Expertise in strategic planning, program and policy development, and evaluation.
- Functional knowledge in workflow analysis, business process reengineering, and A&AS.
- Proven ability to simultaneously manage, organize, and execute multiple projects.
- Experience in medical CBRN response, the National Incident Management System (NIMS), or OEH surveillance and Health Risk Assessment.
- Specialized experience in one or more of the following fields: Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or Medical Counter Chemical, Biological, Radiological (CBRN) preparedness.
Required Clearance :
- Security/Background check required.
- Ability to secure and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $100k-$115k
