Overview
SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Special Programs Security Manager to work at its Reston, VA, location with occasional travel to Vienna, VA, and other SOSi sites, supporting a complex range of classified programs. The Security Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures in coordination with the SOSi Vice President of Corporate Security, as well as manage personnel, physical and information security requirements for SCI and SAP activities.

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Special Programs Security Manager to work at its Reston, VA, location with occasional travel to Vienna, VA, and other SOSi sites, supporting a complex range of classified programs. The Security Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures in coordination with the SOSi Vice President of Corporate Security, as well as manage personnel, physical and information security requirements for SCI and SAP activities.
Essential Job Duties
- Support multiple federal agencies with varying security standards and procedures, utilizing the NISPOM, ICDs, DoDM 5205.07 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community.
- Conduct security education and training.
- Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of security policies and procedures, to include the insider threat program.
- Provide security indoctrinations, debriefings, pre/post travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring pre-screening of candidates occurs to mitigate risk to the government, and that accurate paperwork and information is submitted to the customers.
- Process SCI and SAP submissions for personnel supporting various efforts, including customer badge processing.
- Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government.
- Document and maintain personnel security files and rosters.
- Manage Defense Information for Security System (DISS) operations including processing and maintaining personnel security clearances and visit requests .
- Establish and maintain successful working relationships with government and internal customers.
- Act as an advocate for the security program, using sound communication expertise and work with senior level managers to accomplish missions.
- Responsible for facility access control support, intrusion detection, safes/locks, hardware, and doors.
- Initiate and coordinate facility work orders/repairs to ensure perimeter control is secure.
- Maintains SCIF visitor control functions.
- Conduct SCIF self-inspections in preparation for security audits.
- Prepare written SOPs and update annually for IC and SAP customers.
- Provide proposal support, including the writing and reviewing of security volumes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Active in-scopeTS/SCI with Poly.
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage own schedule, travel, and workflow.
- Ability to obtain SAP Access.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience working within SCI and SAP programs.
- Knowledge of ICD 705 SCIF and SAPF accreditations to include transference of cognizance (TOC) to appropriate Cognizant Security Agency (CSA).
Work Environment
- Office Location is Reston, VA, with occasional travel to Vienna, VA, and other SOSi sites.
- Working conditions as normal for an office environment.
- Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
- May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
