MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Data Visualization Expert to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
This role provides key insights into ITD data holdings through a cloud-based data visualization platform, utilized by insider threat analysts, engineers, leadership, and program stakeholders. These custom dashboards provide a single pane of glass view of an individual, as well as enterprise-wide threat reporting visualizations and real-time widgets deployed within the ITAC. These robust set of visualizations are designed to reduce the overall analysis processing time, as well as, increase proactive lead generation by the ITAC Analysts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with Insider Threat Analysts and Data Science team to develop innovative Insider Threat capabilities to enhance the proactive and reactive analytical process.
- Building a multitude of data pipelines connecting the visualization platform directly to ITD's data lake.
- Deploying tailored vetting algorithms and alerts for enhanced analysis across multiple divisions.
- Assisting in special data projects in support of ongoing assessments/inquires or Directorate level collaboration efforts, as directed by Government leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Data Analytics, Data Modeling, Data Science, Statistics/Mathematics and 10+ years of relevant experience with statistical data modeling and software analytics.
- In lieu of an Advanced degree: Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant experience with statistical data modeling and software analytics.
- Subject Matter Expertise in statistical data modeling, data science, and programming algorithms with data visualization software packages.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and user-friendly technical reports, training manuals or similar documentation.
- Ability and experience of effectively working independently and in teams.
- Ability to travel domestically.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
