I2X Technologies is seeking a System Integration Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO . This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

I2X Technologies is seeking a System Integration Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO . This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.
- The System Integration Engineer requires at least Administrator-level knowledge, but does not conduct normal Administrator job functions.
- Integrate software into the test suites, primarily Virtual servers
- Support System Test events by operating suites.
- Operate and troubleshoot systems during test events and integration activities.
- Work with external personnel to resolve test lab issues;
- Work with Operations and Sustainment as well as Level-II/III support personnel to resolve installation and processing issues.
- Create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files
- Perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data
- Troubleshoot both test and operational issues; document test results and prepare test status documentation.
- Read test plan documents and procedures; create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues
- Assist software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues
- Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents; develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures to test in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities
- Participate in integration tests with external elements and sensors; review and provide feedback of system specifications, development, test, network documents as necessary
- Attend meetings
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree minimum in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical discipline
- Active IAT-Level 2 required (Security+ certification or equivalent) (60 dyas after start may be considered)
- Minimum of 1 year of system/network administration experience with a Associate\'s degree and/or relevant information technology certifications
- Knowledge of administration in at least one of these three domains:
- Networking
- Linux
- Windows.
- The desire to conduct complex troubleshooting by analyzing proprietary application logs, firewall policies, and interface documentation.
- Technical knowledge including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks is a plus.
- Prior integration and test experience
- Experience with Agile Methods, and Capability and Feature definition
Desired skills:
- Ideal applicant should have either knowledge of or practical experience with industry or DoD test methodologies and terminology.
- Experience with operational systems (e.g., Aegis, Patriot), development systems (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis), and off-the-shelf statistical analysis packages a plus
- The integration of system components within an integrated test environment.
- Working knowledge of system design and overall integration into an operational environment. Top Secret DoD Clearance desired
