Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Equipment Specialist providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.

This is a full time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Configuration Management & Engineering Support
    • Maintain and update technical data packages and drawing sets; manage drawing revisions and distribution.
    • Review and recommend updates to system, development, and product specifications for hardware/software.
    • Perform configuration control tasks including managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Deficiency Reports (DRs), and deviation/waiver requests.
    • Participate in configuration audits (FCA/PCA) and technical interchange meetings (TIMs), maintaining action item tracking and board documentation.
    • Develop and maintain system baselines and support parts provisioning, including alternate sourcing and CAGE code tracking.
  • Technical Order (TO) Development & Management
    • Prepare, review, and assist with TCTOs, TO validation/verification, and digital TO system transition.
    • Coordinate lifecycle TO management tasks, including cataloging, tracking, and TO-related forms (AFTO 22, 252, Forms 873-875).
    • Support publication and distribution of TO changes in coordination with Technical Content Managers and TOMA.
  • Logistics & Sustainment Analysis
    • Conduct logistics supportability analyses (e.g., Illustrated Parts Breakdowns for SRU/LRU support).
    • Provide input to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) efforts including maintenance data collection, configuration and provisioning planning, and quality deficiency evaluations.
    • Use software tools to identify readiness issues, recommend corrective actions, and maintain combat support systems compliance.
  • Inventory, Provisioning, and Supply Chain Support
    • Manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) inventory including physical inventories and updates to National Stock Number (NSN) and DLA systems.
    • Track and analyze contractor logistics support parts lists and maintenance requirements.
  • Process Improvement & Policy Compliance
    • Evaluate system practices and Air Force directives to ensure adherence to maintenance, sustainment, and acquisition policy standards.
    • Recommend improvements to range systems operations and mission support logistics practices.


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's in a related field and at least three (5) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, three (3) of which must be in the DoD, OR
    • Seven (7) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category requirements, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD
