We are seeking a highly skilled Domino / HCL Notes Architect to join our dynamic team for a project at Arlington,

The Domino / HCL Notes Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions on the HCL Notes/Domino platform, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with overall enterprise architecture. You will play a key role in application development, server administration, and integration with other systems. This will involve a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Essential Duties:
  • Support client's messaging platform consisting of Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino, and SMTP.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Notes/Domino applications.
  • Create and maintain documentation for applications, processes, and system configurations.
  • To be responsible for architectural development, planning, and implementation of the overall strategic goals of systems.
  • Identify, evaluate, implement, and support related technologies such as but not limited to messaging web access, instant messaging, and collaboration and unified messaging.
  • Provide support in the areas of Lotus software products standardization, leveraging management and security features of new and existing products, application tuning, and capacity planning to a worldwide data center audience.
  • Migrate applications to modern platforms such as AEM or similar.
  • Respond to requests from users (as Level 2 of the escalation procedures) and assist in deploying/configuring systems so as to conform to ITS infrastructure standards and EFCC needs
  • Provide resolution of more complex issues escalated from the support helpdesk and provide extra frontline support capacity as directed.
    Perform other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Hands on experience in design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of a Domino/Notes infrastructure, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers
  • Excellent oral/written communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Linux, Windows 2003 administration, and Active Directory
  • Familiarity with best practices in network operations.

Education/ Certification:
  • B achelor degree in computer engineering, computer science or a closely related engineering field.
