Rate: Up to $52.00/hr BOE

Job Title: Engineer Radio Frequency Microwave Design 1

As a key member of our team, you will work on complex technical challenges, develop and analyze RF systems, and collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement cutting-edge systems. Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar
  • 2 years of related experience or 0 years related experience with a Master's Degree
  • Experience with MATLAB or equivalent software tools
  • Experience with RF components and systems
  • Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance prior to starting

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with HFSS software for PCB design
  • Experience with Keysight Advanced Design System Software
  • Experience with digital signal processing
  • Previous experience with Radar waveforms, Electronic Support (ES), and/or Electronic Attack (EA)
  • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare principles
  • Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology
  • Familiarity with Atlassian software development and collaboration tool set (Jira and Confluence)
  • Experience with Ethernet and TCP/IP
  • Experience with component selection for system development
  • Experience using mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Experience with RF receiver and RF jamming, software defined radios, and encryption systems
  • Experience working with RF test equipment
  • Experience with concurrent hardware and software development
  • Experience with military aircraft avionics and/or stores
  • Familiarity with referenced military standards
  • Familiarity with aircraft safety, supportability, maintainability, and reliability disciplines
  • Experience with AutoCAD electrical

Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar, with 2 years of related experience or 0 years related experience with a Master's Degree.

Other Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance prior to starting
  • Work is performed in a Navy development facility
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a physical examination
