Serve as the Visa and Transportation Logistics Support Specialist to the Logistics Management Center (LMC), at the U.S. Embassy Baghdad. Provide technical advice to the DoS staff and other agencies on all matters regarding visa operations and processes required to obtain visa approvals throughout Iraq. Advise the U.S. Department of State on assigned visa projects. Work to implement various tracking and other data management tools. Provide support to the LMC and other agencies on all matters regarding visa expediting and processes required to obtain entry and residency visas throughout Iraq. Responsible for monitoring the movement of visas through the GOI process and coordinating with contracting companies, and the LMC at the U.S. Embassy, to complete all necessary requirements for visa requests and subsequent visa activation.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for LOCAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT - TRANSPORTATION LOGISTICAL SUPPORT (LOGISTICS COORDINATOR): Pay commensurate with experience.

LOCAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT - TRANSPORTATION LOGISTICAL SUPPORT (LOGISTICS COORDINATOR) Responsibilities Include:
• Coordinates with contracting companies at the U.S. Embassy and all Mission sites (COM and BPC) to complete bilingual visa packets required for submission to the Iraq Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Monitor trending for visa approvals and denials and coordinate with LMC for proper reporting
• Send official memorandums through courier services to ministries and acts on behalf of the LMC
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required for visas, passports, blood work, and all required documents pertaining to visa processing
• Advise DoS personnel on managing visas in support of DoS operations; develops reports that summarize and forecast trends that highlight potential service short falls; consults with LMC staff at the US Embassy Baghdad to evaluate expectations regarding Ministry of Interior requirements
• Other duties as assigned as they support visa residency processing
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
LOCAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT - TRANSPORTATION LOGISTICAL SUPPORT (LOGISTICS COORDINATOR) Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
• Associate's degree or minimum five years of relevant experience in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Level 3/3 in English is required.
• Level 4/4 in Arabic is required
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
