Estimated Starting Salary Range for GENERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT (RSO) - COUNTERMEASURES: pay commensurate upon experience

GENERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT (RSO) - COUNTERMEASURES Responsibilities Include:

Support the Regional Security Office Countermeasures department at the U.S. Embassy, Baghdad, Iraq by providing general office management support to include logistical support, clerical, document review for content and format, and file maintenance.

Coordinate meetings, schedule conference rooms, and assist with RSO projects.

Provide strong customer service skills and maintain accurate records.

The incumbent uses a variety of administrative and communication skills to help manage the day-to-day operations of the RSO Countermeasures Office's activities and programs.

The incumbent will stay abreast of security notices and policies, coordinate paperwork and processing for contractor clearance and compound access.

Weapons of Mass Destruction Program:

Assists Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) instructors with support in the training of Embassy staff to include First Responders. Assists with SCAPE hood logistics - specifically collection of expired hoods and dissemination of replacement hoods - throughout the embassy compound.

Ensures functionality and maintenance of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) equipment (inspections, gear accountability, destruction of outdated and possibly dangerous material.

Physical Security Projects:

Supports Countermeasures in all physical security projects. Maintains project database and liaises directly with project managers to accurately project completion dates and deadlines. Additionally assists in maintaining subject matter expertise of all physical security pieces in the RSO inventory for expedient utilization for projects on the BEC and within the International Zone.

Site Security Surveys:

Conduct GPS surveys of facilities, duck/cover bunkers, guard towers, office facilities, emergency kits and other hard cover facilities. This data is submitted to the National

Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to update and print detail maps of the various sites that the Department of State is responsible for.

Conducts Physical Security Facility Surveys as assigned - (New Embassy Compound (to include 6 SDAs, Recreation Center, and Annex 1 & 2), East End Housing, Water Treatment Plants, Motor Pool, GSO/RSO/PAE Warehouses, Power Plants, Camp Condor, CMR Residence DCMR Residence, and more.

Logistics:

Escorts equipment and personnel into secure facilities and provide supervision of workers.

Ensures maintenance of all RSO Countermeasures' vehicle fleet to include Emergency Response vehicles and administrative vehicles. This includes daily/weekly vehicle maintenance and equipment functionality checks.

Conducts inspections of all emergency kits and medical kits placed around the Embassy Compound. Identifies expired or unserviceable medical supplies, and accounts for products consumed or missing to support future resupply orders.

Maintains equipment stored within the various RSO Countermeasures' CONNEX storage units.

GENERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT (RSO) - COUNTERMEASURES Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Level 5/5 in English is required.

• Requires an associate's degree and *five (5) years of relevant experience
