Submarine Programs and Business Development Lead

Key Role:

Serve as a senior leader to develop strategic direction and drive business development activities for submarine programs and related technology initiatives. Leverage extensive expertise , organizational understanding , and knowledge of technology and high-level relationships within Team Submarine, OPNAV, the U.S. Submarine Fleet , and other organizations such as Strategic Systems Programs ( SSP ) and NAVSEA to execute business development goals. Foster collaboration with key industry partners. Develop and execute business growth strategies, e nga ge with key internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects. Act as the primary client contact, build and maintain relationships, and communicate effectively to achieve business objectives. Manage and participate in the delivery of captured work, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with submarine programs, operations, and technology
  • Experience in senior or executive leadership roles within the submarine domain
  • Knowledge of Team Submarine, MIB, and NAVSEA
  • Knowledge of submarine and undersea systems, programs, contracts and government business operations and how new technologies can be leveraged to improve processes
  • Ability to build high-level relationships within the industry and government, and leverage relationships in Team Submarine, MIB, and NAVSEA
  • Ability to build internal Booz Allen relationship and networks, and interpret the intersections between mission needs and technology, including AI / ML, digital engineering, sof tware development, cloud computing, and cyber security
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in business development and client e nga gement
  • Knowledge of DoD government contract s, acquisition, and proposal processes
  • Knowledge of OPNAV, U.S. Submarine Fleet , SSP, and other organizations
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, collaborative, relationship-building, and time management skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS / SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
