Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented early-career professional to join our Operational Excellence team as a Green Belt (required) or Black Belt (preferred). This role offers a unique opportunity for growth and development, with a clear path for advancement to Master Black Belt. You will be responsible for leading process improvement projects, driving business value, and developing expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead process improvement projects, applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive business value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions
  • Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement project plans, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion
  • Communicate project results and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Develop a thorough understanding of business processes and operations
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement, aligning with organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead and participate in Lean and Kaizen activities, including:
    + Daily/Weekly/Monthly Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement
    + Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Mapping to identify waste and opportunities for improvement
    + Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CAPA) to address quality and operational issues
    + Standardized Work (SW) and Visual Management (VM) to improve process efficiency and effectiveness
    + Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to optimize asset performance
  • Mentor and coach team members on Lean and Kaizen principles and tools
  • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to track process performance and improvemen

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 4-6+ years of experience OR 8-10+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Green Belt certified (willingness to obtain Black Belt certification within 6-12 months; training and support provided)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using statistical tools and techniques (e.g., Minitab, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen, with understanding of organizational goals and objectives


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, operations research)
  • 1-3 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or a related field
  • Black Belt certification
  • Familiarity with Lean and Kaizen principles and tools
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, operations research)
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, PDCA)
  • Experience with Lean and Kaizen tools and techniques, such as VSM, RCA, CAPA, SW, VM, TPM, and OEE


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
