Responsibilities
- Monitor and track project budgets, labor, travel, and expenditures.
- Coordinate and reconcile budgets between project managers and contracting teams.
- Prepare and deliver clear and accurate budget reports and presentations.
- Capture meeting minutes and follow-ups to ensure accountability.
- Support project planning activities and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with federal budgeting and reporting requirements.
- Bachelor's degree (business, finance, or related field preferred).
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, or project financial support.
- Federal contractor or agency experience a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of MS Project a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel if needed.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Prior experience supporting federal contracting projects.
- Knowledge of federal budget compliance and reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple financial tasks across concurrent projects.
- Strong analytical mindset with a process improvement orientation.
