Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with others to identify/clarify data needs
• Operationalize data elements and format/display the data for useful business context
• Answer questions from leadership by analyzing data and applying appropriate statistical tests
• Use statistical tools (charts, graphs, fishbone, etc.) to transform data.
• Demonstrated experience working with large scale datasets, Access databases and Excel
spreadsheets, macros, and pdf files containing government information.
• Demonstrated experience with statistics, data modeling, and natural language processing.
• Demonstrated experience with R, Java Script, Python, SAS, SQL, and similar languages/packages.
• Demonstrated experience building large, complex tables and tools, displaying a broad of
data/information and performance measures.
• Robust analytical/quantitative/statistical skills, experience managing, maintaining, and
developing new statistical and mathematical applications and techniques.
• Demonstrated experience creating tools/dashboards using software like R Studio or Tableau.
• Demonstrated experience working with unstructured data, especially text sources.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Demonstrated experience with designing and organizing data based on design and methods
conducive to analysis and reporting.
• Working experience with desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and
experience in storyboarding.
• Demonstrated creativity and flexibility to rapidly identify and understand new trends and develop
new approaches, recommendations, and solutions to address changing customer behavior and
needs.
• Applying data management principles and concepts applicable to the design, development, and
implementation of data structures, data modeling, and data quality
