Overview

**CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Automation / Modernization Specialist t o support our government customer's requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Essential Job Duties

  • Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
  • Lead the strategic design and implementation of enterprise-wide automation initiatives to optimize IT service delivery and infrastructure management.
  • Architect and oversee the development of automated self-help capabilities, significantly reducing help desk dependencies.
  • Define standards and best practices for automated configuration management, including event logging and updates.
  • Direct the design and implementation of comprehensive CMDBs to maximize the effectiveness of automation tools.
  • Champion the creation and utilization of automated documentation and security operations libraries.
  • Identify and drive the adoption of automation and modernization technologies across the IT landscape.
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance on complex automation challenges.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 14 years' experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years' experience.
  • An active Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
  • DOD Work Role ID 753 Certs : CAP or equivalent .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
  • Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.

Work Environment

  • Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
  • Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700 .
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
