Duties
Help
  • You will serve as the technical liaison between PMRF, Fleet commands, the event sponsor, Commander, Joint Region Marianas and other external agencies or commands that are involved in the planning of scheduled Fleet training events and exercises.
  • You will provide technical guidance on contracting/acquisitions best practices to internal and external customers.
  • You will ensure command contracts are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • You will prepare and disseminate documentation related to contracting/acquisitions functions and best practices.
  • You will develop and coordinate assignments and plans related to the Command's contracting/acquisitions functions.
  • You will read and interpret Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DON) acquisitions and program management policies to ensure program compliance.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will required to complete the Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE Form 450, on an annual basis to report financial interest as well as other interests outside the government.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of CONTRACTING OFFICER REPRESENTATIVE experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing contracting/acquisitions functions for a unit or team such as: inspecting and verifying the work of contractors; resolving problems related to contracting/acquisitions; and/or providing technical guidance on contracting/acquisitions compliance policies and procedures.
