Senior Configuration Management Specialist

Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Configuration Manager (CM) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will work closely with Program Manager (PM) to support organization efforts. The ideal candidate will be in a senior-level role, leading efforts to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of Configuration Management and ILS operations. You’ll manage critical documentation, coordinate with technical stakeholders, and play a central role in supporting the Navy’s submarine modernization programs. Candidate will serve as a senior CM/ILS subject matter expert for AN/BYG-1 submarine systems. Join our innovative team and contribute to impactful national security initiatives.

Work Location: Onsite: Middletown, RI
Travel: Some, 10-15%

Required Experience:
-In-depth expertise in Engineering Change processes (ECI, TECI, CP, ECP).
-Proficient in NDE, CDMD-OA, and ILS Certification processes.
-Strong background in submarine installation risk assessment and APL management.
-Proven ability to coordinate with government and technical stakeholders.
-Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
-Skilled at interpreting technical documentation and change directives.
-10+ years of CM/ILS experience in Navy submarine programs.

Desired Experience:
-Experience supporting AN/BYG-1 systems or 10–12 years as a Fire Control Technician (SS).
-Knowledge of Navy configuration control and sustainment planning.
-Background in testing, verification, and validation within CM/ILS frameworks.
