Job Summary:
We're seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Software Support & IT Solutions Specialist. This role blends technical expertise with customer-facing support, ideal for someone passionate about web development, Microsoft Power Platform, and empowering users through training and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Web Design & Development: Build and maintain internal and external websites using modern web technologies.
- Microsoft Power Apps: Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps and related Microsoft tools.
- Customer Support: Provide responsive and effective software support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high user satisfaction.
- Training & Enablement:
- Develop and deliver training sessions (virtual and in-person).
- Create engaging training materials, including how-to guides, video tutorials, and walkthroughs.
- Documentation & Knowledge Base:
- Maintain and expand internal FAQs, wiki pages, and user documentation.
- Ensure content is clear, accurate, and accessible to users of all skill levels.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Science (CS), or a related field.
- Proven experience in web design and development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Strong communication skills with a passion for helping users succeed.
- Experience creating training materials and technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Automate, or Dynamics 365.
- Experience with user experience (UX) design principles.
- Knowledge of help desk or ticketing systems.
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
- Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
- Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.
