Physical requirements: Some work may require walking and standing in conjunction with travel and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work site. Incumbent may carry light items such as papers, books, or small parts. The work does not require any special physical effort.

Help
- Serve as the principal advisor to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) on all cybersecurity matters, providing strategic guidance to protect the Agency's information systems and data.
- Lead the DeCA Cybersecurity Directorate, overseeing agency-wide cybersecurity operations, policy, and compliance programs.
- Direct oversight, testing, evaluation, and accreditation services to ensure all DeCA systems meet or exceed Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive DeCA-wide cybersecurity plans, programs, policies, and procedures, subject to DeCA Director and/or CIO approval.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cybersecurity personnel across other DoD Components to ensure unified security strategies and prevent unauthorized access, compromise, loss, or destruction of DeCA and DoD information assets.
- Ensure cybersecurity enterprise architecture is aligned with DeCA's current IT infrastructure and modernization initiatives, supporting secure integration of emerging technologies.
- Lead incident response and risk management efforts, ensuring rapid identification, containment, and mitigation of cybersecurity threats.
