The United States Space Force (USSF) Europe and Africa (EUR-AF) at Ramstein Air Base, Germany is searching for an Executive Support Specialist (NH-0301-03, GS 12/13 equivalent).
Description:
Reviews incoming and outgoing correspondence and recommendations pertaining to content. Personally, drafts and/or edits correspondence. Reviews completed actions for priority, content, security markings, and to ensure that issues are correctly addressed, and that necessary levels of staff coordination have been accomplished. Returns to originator those actions requiring additional staff coordination or revision of actions not meeting standards. Has full responsibility for maintaining the SPACEFOREUR-AF/CC and Deputy daily and long-range calendars. Exercises objectivity and a keen awareness of the mission and responsibilities of that and can discriminate among those appointments, briefings and meetings that require the SPACEFOREUR-AF/CC personal attention and those which can be referred to the Deputy or appropriate subordinate Director.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, and spreadsheets. Skill in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Skill in intrapersonal relationships to work with senior officials. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to plan and organize work. Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of the employing organization.
2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, and spreadsheets.
3. Knowledge of protocol principles and associated regulations, policies, directives, procedural guides, precedents and instructions, and military and civilian rank structure in order to coordinate and assure adherence to proper ceremony and etiquette.
4. Skill in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
5. Skill in interpreting functional policies, procedures, and techniques to develop viable programmatic options for satisfying the organization's changing priorities.
6. Skill in intrapersonal relationships to work with senior officials.
7. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
8. Ability to plan and organize work.
9. Ability to access or locate information through the use of a person, computer or terminal.
10. Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.
- Salary will include COLA (cost of living adjustment) based on locality.
- Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework".
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignment.
- PCS is authorized. Incentives are not authorized.
