Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

What you get to do every day:

• Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions.
• Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues
• Conducting risk assessments
• Identifying technical requirements
• Managing project timelines
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
• Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
• Providing post-migration support and address any issues that arise
• Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures
• Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts
• Implement security and compliance policies
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing
• Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online,SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive

Qualifications

Clearance Required: Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility) with polygraph * *This position is not open for any clearance upgrades or sponsorship.**

Certification Required:

• 2 Cloud Certification in representative cloud where work is performed (Azure or AWS)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified

Education/Experience:

• Requires Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of related experience

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
• Cloud architecture
• Python
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks
