Description:
Serve as a mid-level application developer supporting the CHESS IT-eMart application. You’ll work closely with the technical lead and data specialist to deliver development requirements aligned with customer specifications. This role requires familiarity with Agile development practices and Army cybersecurity compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
Full stack development for internal and external web applications
Develop applications using C# .NET and the .NET MVC framework
Maintain high security standards and reusable code
Participate in requirements discussions
Support junior developers as needed
Required Skills:
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in:
C#/.NET or similar object-oriented programming (e.g., Java)
Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
MSSQL database development
JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Knockout, AngularJS)
Source control tools (SVN, Git)
Active CompTIA Security+ certification
Desired Skills:
Experience with C#/.NET MVC
Familiarity with nHibernate, Microsoft Entity Framework, or similar ORM tools
Understanding of IIS and C#/.NET deployment
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Atlassian tools
SCRUM-based Agile development experience
Work Environment:
Remote work in an enterprise government setting. Participation in virtual meetings, training sessions, and occasional in-person collaboration may be required.
Clearance Level: Secret
• This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)
• Because an active or interim DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required
Salary Range: $83,200.00 to $93,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, TEKsystems considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
