Description:What You Will Be Doing:
This position supports the data analytics in support of US Government Depot repairs. LM Aero is responsible for establishing the infrastructure to manage, maintain, and provide technical support for Air System depot level maintenance and repairs. LM Aero also supports the United States Government (USG) in achieving USC Title 10 compliance. To achieve this objective, the candidate will:
- Be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions. Using proven and sound statistical methods, the analyst draws insights from data and translates those insights into action that drive business results.
-Design and maintain interactive dashboards to track and enhance operational performance
- Lead and perform modeling and analytic trending analysis in support of performance to plan (P2P) targets for US Government Repair of Repairable items (e.g. collection, resource allocation, gap analysis, etc.)
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to understand their analysis needs, plan analysis tasks, and deliver actionable findings to stakeholders
- Present findings to key stakeholders assessing enterprise performance to strengthen decision making
- Lead and coordinate team efforts to establish data automation objectives

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
-Analytical skills with experience in databases, data structures, and/or large dataset processing (Excel, Access, or similar tools).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience working in a team environment to meet internal and external deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to develop automated data visuals/tools that support improvement processes
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge in capacity assessment and simulation modeling
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively
- Prior experience or knowledge of SAP, Gold, or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software
- Reading, Writing, and Applying Structured Query Language (SQL) to extract, process and manipulate data.
Reading, Interpreting, and Writing eXtensible Markup Language (XML).
- Working knowledge of database management and object-oriented software languages.
- Experience with data analysis tools, such as SQL, Python, or R, and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Working experience with various enterprise systems (Engineering, Modeling, Sustainment, Supply ).
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends or patterns.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
