🧠 What You’ll Do
As an LCSW embedded at Department of State and Department of Defense facilities in Iraq, you’ll deliver frontline mental health care that supports resilience, mission-readiness, and overall well-being. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations and clinical assessments
• Delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy to individuals, families, and groups
• Managing acute mental health crises with professionalism and compassion
• Educating and empowering patients and families with tools for lasting wellness
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary medical team to develop and implement holistic care plans
• Maintaining precise and confidential medical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards
• Supporting outreach and awareness initiatives to promote mental wellness

✅ What You Bring
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker – active, unrestricted U.S. license
• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 3+ years’ recent clinical experience, with at least 6 months in the past year
• Familiarity with EMRs and Microsoft Office
• Prior experience supporting military or government operations preferred
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Valid U.S. Passport (18+ months until expiration)
• Eligible for U.S. Government MRPT clearance

🏋️ Physical & Deployment Requirements
• Must pass a comprehensive pre-deployment physical
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Willing and able to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English
