Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Apply current graphics design and .NET technologies to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint server portals
- Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing MOSS portals
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
- Translate applications requirements into web-based solutions using available technology
- Apply new and emerging technologies to the software development process
- Knowledgeable in implementing computer systems in a phased approach of requirements analysis through testing, using Internet/intranet technology
- Knowledgeable in performing requirements analysis for a wide range of users
- Able to present system designs for user approval at formal reviews
- Capable of performing configuration management, software integration, and interpretation of software test results, as well as recommending solutions for unsatisfactory test results
- Knowledgeable in life-cycle support, including maintenance, administration, and management
- Provide solutions to identify software problem reports
- Work with project stakeholders daily
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Graduate degree in a related field
- State Department experience preferred
- Able to be available for overseas travel
- Able to work effectively with high-ranking officials of the State Department, other government agencies, and foreign governments
- Have a strong understanding of the paper process at the State Department and other State Department procedures, such as travel planning and execution
- Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Top-Secret clearance required
