*** is looking for an NDT Test Examiner 3 to support our Safety and Mission Assurance department. As a member of the S&MA department you'll work in a fast-paced team environment. The person responsible for this role trains, examines and certifies nondestructive test (NDT) personnel, ensuring that NDT personnel are competent and qualified to perform the applicable tests in conformance with Company and contractual requirements. This position will serve on-site in Gilbert, AZ
Responsibilities:
Extensive Radiography and Liquid Dye Penetrant Testing experience is a must.
Ability to properly operate both film and digital radiographic system equipment.
Must be certified to Level 3 in Radiography and Liquid Dye Penetrant per NAS 410 / ASNT testing methods.
Must be fluent and have a functional understanding of NAS 410.
Proficient in evaluating radiographic film and/or digital image capture.
Capable of providing Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) duties and understanding the responsibilities of an RSO.
Able and willing to train personnel within the scope of required NDT activities as required.
Able to read engineering documentation and inspect drawings, parts lists, inspection plans, and supplemental instructions.
Use Client applications and learn new computer programs / applications as required.
Basic technical writing and communication skills are required.
Willing to work 2nd shift, overtime, and/or weekend support as required.
A willingness to travel on occasion to accomplish all required testing.

Basic Qualifications for NDT Test Examiner 3:
Perform Radiography, Liquid Dye Penetrant, along with other required NDT inspections.
Continually provide surveillance of our processes and procedures to ensure they meet current industry standards.
Provide formal and informal training and guidance to less experienced NDT inspectors.
Perform internal audits of work areas to ensure compliance with ISO specifications and acceptable quality standards and workmanship practices within the field of NDT.
Generate nonconformance reports for discrepancies discovered during the inspection process as required.
Preferred Qualifications for NDT Test Examiner 3:
Perform in-depth reviews of configuration to determine if as-built meets as-designed
Working knowledge of TipQA and/or Costpoint database applications
Hold additional certifications such as Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, or Ultrasonic Testing certifications.
Previous DCMA audit experience a plus.
Previous experience working in ISO-certified company
