Job Description
Do you have experience writing software in Java and Python? We're looking for a dedicated software engineer to join our team. The role includes contributing to software releases for an existing Software Defined Radio in Java and a GUI interface written in Python as well as the opportunity to support and interact with the systems' users while providing 24x7 support for the live systems. Job Responsibilities
• Maintain a web-based RESTful Python application
• Contribute to future releases of a Java code base for a Software Defined Radio
• Collaborate closely with the program subject matter expert and engineering lead.
• Connect with users of our system through customer meetings or debugging support over the phone
• Expand the functionality of the existing toolset through new feature development and bug fixes
• Grow into a rotational responsibility for 24x7 support for the live system (infrequent off hours calls)
• Engage with the customer for feedback and input on technical direction

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $84480 - $143660
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- TS clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI & CompTIA Security+ certification
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience in RESTful APIs, Java, and/or Python web applications required
- Proficiency with source code control tools such as git or Bitbucket
- Demonstrated strength in verbal & written technical communication & collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related discipline
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience developing on Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with automated build pipelines, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
