The Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) Subject Matter Expert will analyze, exploit, and transform collected MASINT data into actionable intelligence products. This includes acoustic, infrasound, seismic, and effluent signatures, as well as their interactions with matter across terrestrial, atmospheric, and exo-atmospheric domains. The SME will also lead the development, delivery, and standardization of MASINT training across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), while supporting operational integration and mission planning.

Responsibilities
MASINT Analysis & Exploitation
- Conduct in-depth analysis of collected MASINT data, including acoustic, infrasound, seismic, and effluent signatures.
- Transform complex measurements into intelligence products that support strategic, operational, and tactical missions.
Training Development & Delivery
- Develop and deliver comprehensive MASINT training programs using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles.
- Establish and maintain standardized MASINT training curricula applicable across the DIE.
- Provide technical editing and graphic design for syllabi, instructor plans, and student guides, ensuring all materials meet Government approval.
Certification & Standardization
- Collaborate with the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) to design, develop, and implement a fully accredited MASINT Certification Program.
- Maintain consistent training standards and certification requirements across all participating agencies.
Operational Planning & Engagement
- Provide planning and engagement support for Defense Intelligence Enterprise MASINT (DIEM) initiatives.
- Achieve a target of at least 90% completion of assigned operational planning tasks within designated timeframes and DIA quality standards.
- Deliver After-Action Reports (AARs) for each engagement, including recommendations to enhance MASINT operations at the Combatant Command (CCMD) level.
Leadership & Problem Solving
- Define complex problems, oversee studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze MASINT-related data.
- Advise senior leadership on findings and recommend actionable solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 20 years of relevant MASINT or related intelligence experience, with at least part of this experience gained within the last 2 years.
- Master's degree in a field related to the labor category from an accredited U.S. Department of Education-recognized institution.
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
