In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to shape requirements, architect solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of technology into operational environments.

Target Salary Range: $190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

About The Role
Peraton is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to lead the design, integration, and delivery of complex systems supporting mission-critical operations. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to shape requirements, architect solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of technology into operational environments.
What You'll Do
- Translate user needs, CONOPS, and high-level architectures into precise, actionable system requirements.
- Lead design and development efforts, guiding technical teams from concept through deployment.
- Advise stakeholders on requirements, alternative approaches, and feasibility, ensuring solutions meet mission objectives.
- Drive the integration of requirements, design, and technology into cohesive, operational systems.
- Author and maintain technical documentation, including system architectures, design specifications, and integration/test plans.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with Government counterparts, addressing issues and ensuring alignment.
- Safeguard the technical integrity of all Systems Engineering deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, Government representatives, and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Seventeen (17) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science,
Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. - Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph required.
