Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and services using modern frameworks and languages.
- Create, consume, and document web services and REST APIs.
- Develop and execute test procedures to validate software functionality and performance.
- Ensure software components meet Section 508 Compliance standards for accessibility.
- Generate, review, and maintain accurate technical and software documentation.
- Collaborate in Agile team environments, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Use tools such as Jira and Confluence to track work and collaborate with team members.
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure quality control of developed and modified codebases.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues across the software stack.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency with the following technologies and tools:
- React
- Java & Spring Boot
- JavaScript
- Node.js
- jQuery
- AngularJS / Angular 2+
- MongoDB
- Git
- Strong experience writing and consuming RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with software testing practices and test case development.
- Experience ensuring Section 508 accessibility compliance.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and using Jira and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality software development practices.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity or experience with:
- Docker / Kubernetes
- HAProxy
- Nginx
- Elastic Stack (ELK)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 8+ years of software development experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role
