We are seeking a mission-driven and detail-oriented Release and Deployment Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT service releases across the client network. This role is central to maintaining the integrity, availability, and operational readiness of the client network —an international defense information-sharing platform.
As part of the team, you’ll oversee the end-to-end release lifecycle for Major, Minor, and Emergency changes, ensuring alignment with policy and national support organizations. You will engage in cross-border collaboration to guarantee the secure, efficient, and minimally disruptive deployment of services.
On our team, you’ll be defining release strategies, managing deployment schedules, and coordinating with technical and governance bodies like the Technical Change Advisory Board (T-CAB). You’ll also interface with key ITSM processes—Change, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, and Configuration Management—to ensure seamless integration and service continuity.
You Have:
· 3+ years of experience in IT Service Management, preferably in defense or multinational environments
· 3+ years of experience managing release and deployment activities across complex systems
· Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow
· Familiarity with structured change governance processes (e.g., CAB, T-CAB, E-CAB)
· Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, especially Release and Deployment Management
· Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and national support organizations
· Clearance Required: Secret.
· Bachelor’s degree. Note: 6 year's work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Nice If You Have:
· ITIL Foundation or higher certification
· Experience with Configuration Management Systems (CMS/CMDB)
· Familiarity with international governance structures
· Ability to translate business RFCs into technical implementation plans
· Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
· PMP or equivalent project management certification
· Experience supporting classified or defense-related IT environments
· The candidate should possess a collaborative mindset that emphasizes cross-functional alignment and continuous improvement.
Clearance:
The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
