We are seeking multiple skilled and mission-driven DevOps Engineers to support a U.S. Air Force initiative aimed at improving operational decision-making through advanced data systems. This role will focus on the design and implementation of a Linux hypervisor for ATOMS and AbMN platforms, integration of cybersecurity findings and STIGs as well as onboarding/training of new team members in the System Integration Lab (SIL).
Key Responsibilities:
*Design and implement Linux based hypervisors
*Apply cybersecurity findings and implement STIGs on mission system hardware
*Support and maintain containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker
*Manage and configure VMware and other hypervisor technologies
*Integrate and maintain Active Directory services
*Train and mentor new direct employees in SIL operations and best practices
*Ensure compliance with DoD RMF processes and cybersecurity standards
Required Qualifications:
*Security+ Certification (CompTIA)
*5+ years with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization
*VMware and other hypervisors
*Active Directory
*DoD RMF and STIG implementation
*Strong background in LINUX system administration and virtualization
Preferred Qualifications:
*Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
*Prior experience supporting DoD or Air Force programs
